The 5" dia x 10' Oil-Selective Boom has rust-resistant clips and rings which make it a snap to connect oil absorbent booms together to make any length needed. Use them to confine and soak up a spill fast. Oil absorbent booms float on the surface of the water and will absorb 30 gallons per absorbent boom.

 

The strong mesh outer sleeve of the oil absorbent booms encases a poly sock skin filled with highly-sorbent poly blend. The oil absorbent booms won’t shed or sink, even when saturated with oil. The poly blend filler of the oil absorbent boom is hydrophobic – the oil absorbent boom repels water (and floats) while only absorbing oils and other hydrocarbons. The sturdy hardware of the oil absorbent booms ensures long-lasting durability and easy retrieval.
